 Our Qualifications

Our qualifications are developed using the National Occupational Standards (NOS). 

NOS are developed by standard-setting organisations (SSO) who consult with employers and other stakeholders across the UK nations (Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, and England). 

This consultation process allows any specific requirements to be considered by each nation, and the result is a set of NOS that are suitable for use across the UK. The NOS, set out in a standard format, is approved on a four-nation basis, and SQA Accreditation scrutinises the content.   

We currently provide the following qualifications using the NOS standards as a guide:

Level 6 Certificate in Multinational Logistic Operational Planning


This qualification develops the learner's ability to integrate knowledge of multinational logistic planning and decision-making processes within a practical scenario to apply an operational plan. Also, it develops the ability of the learner to incorporate an understanding of the logistic planning framework and decision-making processes within a strategic and operational plan for international organisations.

Level 5 Diploma in International Facilities Management and Multinational Logistics Operations

The Level 5 Diploma in International Facilities Management and Multinational Logistics Operations provides the standards that must be achieved by individuals who are overseeing and supervising a team of Facilities and logistic operators.

Level 5 Diploma in Security Operational Command

Level 5 Diploma in Security Operational Command is a 48-credit qualification, a civilian equivalent of the Gold Commanders course. The gold strategy is the foundation of all subsequent planning and deployment. Therefore, the gold commander’s leadership ability and strategic oversight are critical to the successful planning and deployment of an operation.

Level 5 Certificate in Logistic Supply Chain Operations                                         

The qualification is that actual or potential managers of logistic operations within a company will understand and be able to use the current logistic information systems that support company logistic operations and prevent fraudulent activity. 

Level 5 Certificate in Security Operational Risk Management

The analysis process should be the basis for implementing all measures, including those for the security of people, property, information, and assets. This learning programme is designed for Advanced Security Operations’, and is a 36-credit vocationally related qualification consisting of five mandatory units. The critical purpose of security risk analysis is to provide the rationale for developing security measures above and beyond the baseline. 

Level 5 Certificate in Hostile Environment security Operations

Work in challenging or hostile environments requires excellent planning and coordination. The Level 5 Certificate in Hostile Environment Security Operations provides the standards that must be achieved by individuals who are overseeing operations in a hostile environment.

Level 5 Award in Leadership Principles

The Level 5 Whole Life Development course is designed to equip individuals with the skills and knowledge necessary to effectively manage all aspects of their lives. This comprehensive course comprises five units, each focusing on a critical competency for successful life management. Successful participants can then go on to the membership grade with our partner.

level 4 Diploma in Specialist Security Trainer

Trainers must demonstrate that they have the necessary experience, knowledge, and understanding of the sector in which they provide training.

To ensure that trainers have the right occupational expertise, we and awarding organisations require trainers new to the sector to have three years’ front-line operational experience in the last ten years in the UK, relevant to the qualifications that they are delivering.

Level 4 Certificate in Security Operational Command

Level 4 Certificate in Security Operational Command is a 24-credit qualification, a civilian equivalent of the Silver Commanders course. The silver commander develops, commands, and coordinates the overall tactical response of an operation by the strategic objectives set by the gold commander.

Level 4 Certificate in The Management of Budgets and Productivity

Better practically based managers can improve management, productivity, and competitiveness. Our flexible approach means the employer can release the employee for short periods, thus minimising disruption while maximising benefits.

Level 4 Certificate in HR and  Administration Management

This course equips you with standards that must be achieved by individuals who are working in HR and administration management roles. Including managing personal and professional development. Identifying sources of business improvements and managing business processes

Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training

The Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training (QCF) is aimed at learners aged 19+ and has been designed to prepare trainee teachers to teach in various contexts. The qualification will meet the needs of a range of teachers and trainee teachers who would like to gain a qualification focusing on practical teaching. It will be appropriate for those with some experience in education and training. This could include individuals not currently teaching or training but who can meet the practice requirements outlined in the mandatory and optional units. It is also appropriate for individuals currently working as assessors who wish to achieve a teaching qualification.

Level 4 Award in Security Operational Command

Level 4 Award in Security Operational Command is a 12-credit qualification, a civilian equivalent of the Bronze Commanders course. The Bronze commander clearly understands the gold commander’s strategy, the silver commander’s tactical plan and their role within it. Implement the relevant part of the silver commander’s plan using appropriate tactics within their geographical/functional area of responsibility.

Level 4 Award in Plan and Manage a Project

This course equips you with the tools to deliver projects within a specified time and budget. You will gain an in-depth understanding of projects' strategic elements, aims, objectives, and budget limitations. The course also examines the role of the project team and manager.

Level 3 Certificate in Facilities Management

Facilities Management's remit covers a range of areas, including negotiating, organizing, and monitoring the delivery of services to clients.

Level 3 certificate in Close Protection

Our course will enhance your military skills and tactical thinking and convert them into the skills needed to work in the civilian security industry worldwide. This will improve your current military skills by having valuable training time with the World’s best operators giving you one to one instruction. We will introduce additional elements to prepare you for deployments, including talks with experienced operatives from specialist teams.

Level 3 Security Operations Management

Security Operations Management identified the gap in existing provision for security-related qualifications and supports the agreed-upon Qualification Strategy produced by Skills for Security. It directly maps to their ‘Specification for the Learning Programme and Qualification for Advanced Security Operations’ and is a six-credit vocationally related qualification consisting of four mandatory units.

Level 5 Award in Coaching & Mentoring

Managers must know that they can only act within set parameters where they use their position and ‘rules’ to achieve goals. In addition, coaches will appreciate that leaders can employ their personalities and influence the behaviour of others through inspiration and motivation. Utilising these alternatives, learners will understand the difference between ’ soft’ leadership and ‘hard’ management.

Level 3 Award in Coaching & Mentoring

Coaching and mentors within an organisation are vital to creating the mindset for a new strategy, including planning for the company's or individual's future growth. This is the benchmark for progressing as a coach or mentor in your chosen career path. It also includes membership in the Career Development Institute (CDI)

Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work

This qualification is ideal for those already working, or preparing to work, within industry who wish to become a first aider in the workplace under the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.
