British Training Board Awards (BTBA) is an independent accreditation, certification, and quality assurance body. We are a Specialist supplier to the industry in providing education to the Military and Public Sector.
We are dedicated to supporting selected, specialist training providers to deliver our recognised Qualifications via the Our Community Academy.
Who We Are
At BTBA, we have a corporate and quality assurance structure to create trust in our methods and accreditation. We work with Transcend Awards to ensure that our standards align with the latest knowledge and best practices determined by national bodies. We work closely with employers recognised by the Armed Forces Community Covenant. Such employers support and endorse our qualifications.

Our Mission
On behalf of the Board. Our mission is to set and maintain quality standards in delivering our awards across all of our selected Training Academy’s.
Curriculum
Our Curriculum Team is responsible for maintaining our accreditation portfolio of awards that specifically provide qualifications to the Armed Forces and Public sector bodies.
They map all our Academy’s training programmes to our standards and external national frameworks. We use the most innovative assessment processes that suit our Academy’s and learners.
Corporate Governance
Our Board meets regularly to review, monitor, and evaluate operational performance.
In doing so, it provides support and guidance to the Executive Board.
Our Executive Board sets the strategy and, in doing so, provides a detailed strategic plan for implementation by each operational team.
Quality Assurance
Our Quality Assurance Team works with Transcend Awards to ensure our Academy’s set and deliver our standardised quality assurance processes.
Transcend Awards work with our Academy’s to develop and ensure that high quality standards are maintained across all provision. This includes classroom and external quality assurance visits.
